  Lovely place to stay, very clean and well looked after. Lakes need to be dredged, far to much weed! Shame really as the fishing could have very good potential. The fish are in there but the weed ruined the whole fishing experience. To any angler contemplating a trip I'd suggest traveling light and stalking the carp in the pond at the back adjoining the main lake. Turning up and sitting behind alarms would be a complete waste of time in my opinion so boilies are a little wasted here. Overall the site was very nice and family friendly. See some lovely looking fish that looked as if they've never been caught and a good specimen easily around the late 20's possibly even hitting the 30lb Mark. If weed was removed then this place could be a little anglers paradise. I think the owners are missing a trick really. After all this is a camp site so I can't really be to harsh as its not a fishery. Anyway overall experience was good and the nippers had a good time. Will stay again but would approach the fishing a lot differently. I did manage to hook into a good carp but he fast gave me the slip
